LG UQ7000 shows us how you can have a modern, beautiful, intelligent television, full of functions and capable of even being able to use it to play games, for a very low price.
Design and connectivity
We are facing a conventional television model in terms of design . Black color, restrained frames (they occupy less than 10% of the total front and are made up of a single piece) and a more aesthetically neglected rear face that, honestly, should matter little, since it is not shown.
The measurements, as indicated in the image that we see just above these words, are 61.6 x 96.7 x 21.9 cm in the case of fully mounting the TV, with its base and 56.7 x 96.7 x 8.81 cm in the case of prefer to stay only with the panel. Thus, know that you need to use a wall support , in this case, 30 x 30 cm .
The base is based on two supports or legs in the shape of a wide V made of plastic and also in black. They do not add too much height but their weight is very light, something that would provide instability in the case of larger and heavier panels. This model is saved because it only weighs 7.1 kilos, 7.2 with its little legs .
Tuning and connectivity
To watch TV we can opt for the analogue tuning of a lifetime, which is given in NTSC/PAL/SECAM , or for the digital one, which includes both terrestrial and cable and satellite ( DVB-C/S2/T2 ). But be careful, in this model, as in many others, we also have CI+ , and in version 2.0, as well. The television comes with its antenna, its female satellite input and a slot for the CI , so that all of the above can be made possible.
The other connections that are included are WiFI 5 and bluetooth 5.0 as wireless and two HDMI 2.0, a USB 2.0, optical digital audio output and Ethernet LAN RJ 45 in the case of the physical ones.
Thus, we would have support for ARC, eARC, CEC, HDCP 2.2, ALLM, bluetooth audio and, surprisingly, HGiG , a type of HDR for video games.

Image quality and general functions
LG 43UQ7000 integrates an IPS panel , something remarkable, because, according to its price, one would expect a VA, but better, of course. This has a diagonal of 43 inches , being 108 cm and giving a total viewing space of 94.11 x 52.94 cm. Of course, it is more restrained in terms of matrix and color depth, which are 24 and 8 bits respectively. Thus, the perfect reproduction of colors remains at 16.7 million.
Its UHD resolution means that the panel is considered to have a very high pixel density, since it includes 103 per inch. The latter means that many pixels are dedicated to a small area and this can be filled with details.
Other details that we find on the panel are an edge backlight, also called Edge LED or a conventional frequency of 60 Hz at most. LG does not advertise any motion enhancement technology to promote frequency work.
We do find two types of noise reducers for the image, a scaler up to UHD, the famous filmmaker mode , HDR HLG and HDR 10 Pro (and HGiG for games as we have already mentioned), automatic brightness control through artificial intelligence, a fifth-generation processor generation that works the image with a dynamic mapping dividing it into 576 independent zones so that the tones are more precise and a game panel that configures aspects so that the image is perfect while you are entertained.

Audio
The model may not stand out at the power level because it comes with the typical two 10 W down firing speakers that we are used to seeing in the vast majority of models.
However, we can applaud the fact that LG incorporates several sound options into such a cheap TV that improve the audio and the experience. The first and most important is the virtualization of sound in 5.1 channels that the AI is able to achieve in some circumstances thanks to the sound scaler. We discovered conventional support for Dolby Digital , adaptive sound control, a specific sound mode , Clear Voice Pro technology, LG Sound Sync and surround sound playback via bluetooth .
Analysis of the software / smartTV of the LG 43UQ70006LB
Being a model launched in LG 43UQ7000, it could not include an operating system other than webOS 22 , improved to enjoy it that year.
Compared to previous versions we found that now you can make your own profile . This will save your experience with the television, including what you see and what you stop seeing to make recommendations, continue the content where you left off, etc. Each member of the family will have their own and thus each use will not modify the experience of the rest.
