Everything you need to know about the new LG OLED 2024 TVs

2024 LG OLED TVs at CES 2024

LG Electronics will unveil the 2024 LG OLED TV series at CES 2024 . The new products are equipped with a proprietary processor with artificial intelligence with 4 times higher performance.

LG is introducing a new and expanded 2024 LG OLED TV lineup featuring the latest LG-developed AI processor designed exclusively for OLED TVs. In particular, LG SIGNATURE OLED M4 and LG OLED G4 TVs are equipped with the new α (Alpha) 11 AI processor, which effectively improves picture and sound quality. This delivers a 70 percent improvement in graphics performance and 30 percent processing speed over its predecessor.

The new LG OLED TVs feature an advanced AI upscaling feature that uses precise pixel-level image analysis to effectively sharpen objects and backgrounds that may appear blurry. It’s all powered by AI to deliver a clearer, more vibrant viewing experience. What’s more, the AI processor accurately processes colors, analyzing commonly used hues that best convey the mood and emotional elements intended by directors and content creators. Dynamic Tone Mapping Pro breaks down images into blocks and fine-tune brightness and contrast by analyzing changes in brightness where light hits the scene, creating images that look more three-dimensional.

The flagship of the series is the LG SIGNATURE OLED M4 , an LG OLED wireless TV. It is now available in a new 65-inch screen size, expanding the range’s diagonal offerings to include a huge 97-inch TV. The innovative wireless Zero Connect Box eliminates the need for connected cables. The LG OLED M4 is the world’s first TV to deliver wireless video and audio at up to 4K and 144Hz, delivering superior OLED performance with precise detail and an enhanced level of immersion.

In addition to impressive picture quality, AI Sound Pro delivers richer playback, while virtual surround sound from the built-in 11.1.2 speakers creates a great viewing ambience. AI technology effectively separates vocals from music to enhance dialogue clarity and smoothly elevates sound as if it were naturally coming from the center of the screen.

The new LG OLED evo models are even more trusted for their superior picture quality with ClearMR certification from the Video Electronics Standards Association (VESA).

LG OLED’s reputation as a great gaming TV is confirmed by the new models, which feature a number of gaming benefits, including an impressive 4K 144Hz refresh rate and HDMI 2.1 support. These advanced TVs also feature Game Optimizer, allowing gamers to easily switch between display presets designed for different gaming genres, and support NVIDIA G-SYNC® and AMD FreeSync compatibility to eliminate tearing and stuttering for the most dynamic, realistic picture and immersive gaming experience .

LG further enhances the home entertainment experience with universal personalization and added convenience. Using the new version of webOS, users can create up to 10 separate profiles for customization. LG’s new smart TVs can even recognize user voices based on profiles and offer personalized recommendations by interpreting patterns from extensive usage history.

Based on individual profiles, users can customize the home screen of the new webOS Smart TV platform and achieve personalization with minimal effort. This allows them to easily access their favorite services and content, as well as enjoy a personalized Picture Wizard feature that allows them to customize the picture quality to their liking. The user-friendly home screen interface enhances the user experience by providing a preview of the most recently watched content, meaning TV owners can easily access information about recently used apps and play videos quickly and effortlessly.

With webOS Re:New, LG is offering the latest webOS update to existing LG Smart TV owners so they can enjoy a modern TV viewing experience for the next five years. This update applies to 2022 LG OLED TV models and 2022 LG QNED Mini LED 8K TV models, and will be rolled out to more LG TVs worldwide in the future, allowing customers who purchase these LG TVs to benefit from a unique custom experience thanks to a continuous five-year update of webOS.

LG is committed to providing everyone with the best user experience by increasing the accessibility of its products and ensuring a seamless experience across multiple devices. LG 2024 smart TVs with the new version of webOS can interact with smart home devices that support Matter, a universal standard for smart home compatibility with the Internet of Things. The latest LG TVs also support Apple AirPlay and Google Chromecast built-in for enhanced compatibility with mobile devices, allowing users to easily cast content from the device to their ultra-large screen for a full viewing experience at home.

LG OLED and LG QNED TVs easily connect to LG sound bars with built-in WOWCAST technology, delivering high-quality playback with a seamless wireless connection. WOW Orchestra immerses you in a 3D soundstage: the built-in speakers of your TV and soundbar work in harmony to create a seamless audio experience.

To enhance usability for people with different needs, LG TVs offer a wide range of accessibility features in the Accessibility section of the Quick Card. This means everyone can now easily find accessibility features on the home screen, including useful services designed for people with disabilities. Additionally, remote control tutorials and chatbot services help users access services using voice.
