The musician will.i.am is famous for his love of high technology. He even has his own tech company I.am +, which introduced a voice assistant in 2017, and the rapper also worked as creative director for Intel.
Covid-19 did not leave him indifferent and he made a cool smart mask together with the Honeywell brand. It costs $ 299 and has built-in headphones and LED lights.
The concept is called XUPERMASK and it consists of a silicone mask with elastic straps. The goal of will.i.am and Honeywell was to create a mask for every day, so here came:
- three coolers with two speed modes,
- HEPA breathing filter (no medical certification),
- active noise canceling headphones,
- microphones,
- Bluetooth,
- LED lights,
- magnetic headphone mounting system.
“We created XUPERMASK to change the rules of the game in the new normalcy,” said will.i.am.
The active mode of the mask is designed for seven hours. It will be available in two colors: white / gray / orange and black / black / orange.
