Microsoft will end support for Windows 10 October 2025

On June 24, Microsoft will be holding a special event to celebrate the new version of Windows . There are persistent rumors on the web that an operating system called Windows 11 will be unveiled. This is also hinted at by the event’s start time (11am ET) and an image posted by Microsoft that can make out the number 11, and 11 minute remix of Windows startup sounds.

Now the date of the end of support for Windows 10 has appeared on the company’s website – it will happen on October 14, 2025. By the way, this is the first time Microsoft announced the end of support for this version of the operating system. Considering that the release of the system took place in 2015, it turns out that the life cycle of Windows 10 will be 10 years.

It is expected that the new version of Windows (whatever it is called) will receive a redesigned Windows Store, an updated design (Sun Valley update), as well as some features from the recently canceled Windows 10X system, which was intended for devices with two displays.
