The global tablet market is not as big and interesting as the smartphone market, but nevertheless, the Covid-19 pandemic has led to the fact that the demand for these devices has begun to grow. This has forced many Chinese brands to launch their own tablets. For example, last year Vivo released the flagship tablet Vivo Pad, following the example of its peers. The device turned out to be quite successful, so the company introduced the second generation of the device.

Vivo Pad 2 has received a significant upgrade – from the screen and processor to the battery and sound, but at the same time, the novelty has retained a small weight and compact size. Largely due to thin bezels (6.9 mm) and screen-to-body ratio (88.1%). The body of the tablet is made of high-quality aluminum alloy, has a thickness of only 6.59 mm. The screen is perhaps the most prominent part of the tablet. Its diagonal is 12.1 inches, the aspect ratio is 7:5, the resolution is 1800 × 2880 pixels, and the refresh rate is 144 Hz. The manufacturer claims that this is the first tablet with smart blue light control technology at the chip level. There is TÜV Rheinland certification and proprietary dimming technology to help reduce eye fatigue. Compared to its predecessor, the display area has increased by 27.3%, so watching movies and TV shows.

Vivo Pad 2 is the best in its class in terms of performance. It uses the 4nm flagship Dimensity 9000 chipset with a 10-core graphics accelerator. RAM in the device up to 12 GB, permanent – 512 GB. The tablet is equipped with an 8-megapixel front camera and a dual main camera with 13 and 2 megapixel sensors. Another strong point of the gadget is a 10,000 mAh battery with support for 44W fast charging. The tablet takes 139 minutes to fully charge. Among other features, it is worth highlighting the proprietary Vivo Super Audio audio system with four very loud speakers. The tablet supports Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, and the USB-C port has a bandwidth of 5 Gbps.

With a new second-generation stylus, intelligent touch keyboard and other accessories, Vivo Pad 2 can be used effectively for work and study. The responsive engine fixed an issue where third-party apps could not be adapted to horizontal screens. In addition, Vivo Pad 2 allows you to share your screen content and transfer files with one touch. When paired with a computer, users can control the PC, share the keyboard and mouse, and copy and paste information between devices.
