Yamaha SR-B20A: Soundbar with support for DTS Virtual: X

In a press release, the manufacturer stated that the SR-B20A is a compact device that is capable of “immersing yourself in realistic surround sound and letting you enjoy the full immersion of what is happening on the screen.”

Among the most significant features of the new Yamaha SR-B20A, Yamaha singled out Dolby Digital, DTS decoders and DTS Virtual: X virtual surround technology. We also noticed two built-in bass modules for “lively and deep bass” and two 25 mm tweeters, which should give maximum detail. The total power of all emitters was 90 W.

If we talk about other technologies involved, then the Yamaha SR-B20A, like the SR-C20A , has a proprietary Clear Voice system for speech extraction, Bass Extension technology for bass amplification, a set of presets (“Stereo”, “Standard”, “Cinema” and “Game”), as well as the ability to connect wirelessly via Bluetooth. The SR-B20A has two optical inputs, a subwoofer output and an HDMI ARC output.

The soundbar can be controlled via the Sound Bar Remote app, where you have access to various modes. The set also includes a regular remote control. Additionally, the manufacturer noted the possibility of placing the soundbar on the wall using the included mounts.

The model is available in black, white and red.
