Tombo Audio R1: Coaxial speakers from Thailand

The Tombo Audio brand , owned by the Thai company K-Studio , presented the R1 bookshelf speakers , made in the Modern Retro concept . The loudspeakers are equipped with coaxial drivers, the high frequency range of which is assigned to an inch tweeter with an aluminum dome and a neodymium magnet system. The rest of the spectrum is served by a 5.25-inch Kevlar cone driver with a soft rubber surround.

The manufacturer claims an operating frequency range of 50 Hz to 20 kHz. The novelty allows step adjustment of the high and low frequencies in the range from 0 to –3 dB. The switches are mounted on the bezel of the coaxial speaker and are unobtrusive.

Speakers Tombo Audio R1 are dressed in wooden cases, divided in half by a horizontal baffle with a calibrated hole. A thick wood trim on the bezel increases the rigidity of the structure. The manufacturer offers a variety of options for combining the body and front trim.

The recommended price for a pair of Tombo Audio R1 speakers is 23 thousand Thai baht. At the start of sales, the manufacturer offers a discount, with which the novelty will cost only 18 thousand baht.
