The Sennheiser Ambeo Mini soundbar joins Sennheiser’s 3D-ready soundbar series, which includes the older Ambeo Max and the Ambeo Plus soundbar introduced last fall at IFA 2022. The novelty also supports modern surround sound formats Dolby Atmos, DTS: X, MPEG-H and 360 Reality Audio.
It also supports a technology developed in collaboration with Fraunhofer IIS that emulates virtual surround channels from stereo signals. This feature has three levels: Light, Standard and Boost. As with other Ambeo models, all speakers are built into the soundbar itself, including a dual subwoofer, in this case with 10cm drivers.
The Sennheiser Ambeo Mini soundbar supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, AirPlay 2, Chromecast, Spotify Connect and Tidal Connect and offers access to major streaming services. To manage and configure the novelty, you can use the application for mobile gadgets Smart Control.
