Morel Biggie: 60 Watt portable wireless speaker in chic colors

Morel introduced the Morel Biggie wireless audio system , combining portability, high output power and stylish appearance. Based on the previously released Högtalare wireless home speaker ($398), the portable Biggie speaker has a rechargeable battery so you can take it with you on picnics or vacations.

The Morel Biggie wireless audio system is equipped with a 4-inch low-frequency driver operating in a phase-inverted design with a port located on the front wall of the case and an inch soft-dome tweeter. Both speakers are made by Morel. The drivers are equipped with separate amplifiers operating in class D: the tweeter is powered by a 15-watt amplifier, and the midrange/woofer is powered by a 45-watt amplifier. According to the manufacturer, Morel Biggie is capable of developing a sound pressure of 95 dB at a distance of 1 meter.

To communicate with the source, Morel Biggie supports the Bluetooth 5.3 wireless interface with BLE. The range reaches up to 50 meters, making the Morel Biggie ideal for indoor and outdoor events, as well as home use. The new product also supports TWS mode, which allows you to combine two Morel Biggie speakers into a stereo pair. The speaker is equipped with a Li-ion battery with a capacity of 2,600 mAh, which provides up to 20 hours of music playback at half volume. It will take two hours to fully charge the battery, but just 20 minutes of charging will provide four hours of audio system use.
