Danish brand Børresen has introduced the Børresen X2 speakers – sleek and elegant 2.5-way floor-standing speakers that become the youngest model in the most affordable (by Børresen standards, of course) X series of acoustics. Børresen X2 reflects Børresen’s desire to satisfy the needs of music lovers of all income levels, while maintaining the brand’s signature standards for authentic and natural music reproduction. The Børresen X2 is based on a combination of technologies borrowed from the M, O and Z series.
The distinctive piano lacquer cabinet design and carbon fiber inlays make the X2 speakers easily identifiable as part of the X Series. The new speaker is designed to provide an “authentic and distinguished music experience to a wider audience.” The Børresen X2 speakers complement the X3 and X6 X Series models. Like all Børresen X Series speakers, the new X2 model is available in piano black or white.

The Børresen X2 speakers use the signature ribbon tweeter found on other X Series models. In addition, the new product features two 4.5-inch drivers with carbon cones, the same as in other X Series speakers.
The Børresen X 2 speaker systems will go on sale in Europe in November 2023 at a recommended retail price of €8,000 per pair of speakers.
