AVM Announces Two-Strip Audition CB 2.3

Bookshelf acoustics Audition CB 2.3 is the first compact two-way speaker from the German company AVM, better known for its audio components. It certainly attracted visitors to the exhibition in Munich with its 8 mm polished aluminum front panel that extends beyond the case size – just like in many of the brand’s semiconductor devices. But this design allowed you to adjust the tilt of the column – a definite plus.

According to the classification of CB 2.3 speaker systems, they belong to two-way phase inverters, and it is claimed that their 160-mm woofer operates from 37 Hz, and the soft dome tweeter – up to 50 kHz. They “meet” at a frequency of 1,850 Hz. With a sensitivity of 88 dB / 1 W (2.83 V), the declared power of 140 W will make it quite loud. The column scheme provides for a band-by-band connection.

The Audition CB 2.3 in two finishes, black or white, is complemented by invisible magnetic grills. These speakers will go on sale in June 2023.

In the EU, the price of AVM Audition CB 2.3 shelf speakers will be 2,990 euros.
