Italian speaker manufacturer Audel has unveiled a complete desktop component audio system. It consists of compact Audel Nika Trend speakers , an Audel U-DAC digital source , and an Audel U-AMP amplifier —three components that work together to form a harmonious whole. The system is available in a variety of designs, including a mosaic version, and, according to the developers, combines aesthetics, handcrafted craftsmanship, and audiophile musicality.

When compelling design and acoustics combine, products are born that are more than just technical devices. Audel, based in Palermo, Italy, and founded by Walter Carzan, has been known for nearly twenty years for combining form, function, and emotion. The Audel Nika Desktop System marks a new step, as for the first time, Audel is introducing not only speakers but also its own electronics. This trio, consisting of the Audel Nika Trend, Audel U-DAC, and Audel U-AMP, is a complete system with modern features, yet remains unmistakably Audel—excellently designed and handcrafted.

Both the Audel Nika Trend speaker system and the Audel U-DAC and Audel U-AMP electronic components are available in three design options: Burl Walnut , Walnut , and Art Mosaic . According to the company, these options represent different interpretations of Italian craftsmanship, ranging from classically refined to modernly minimalist and artistically expressive.
Each component is handcrafted at the company’s Palermo factory and visually coordinates perfectly with the other system elements. The subtle wood grain, satin-wax surfaces, and precision-crafted cabinets make the Audel Nika Desktop System a true work of art—both aesthetically and acoustically. The system fits harmoniously into sophisticated living and working spaces.

Behind its elegant design lies cutting-edge technology. The Audel U-DAC is built on an ESS Sabre ES9038Q2M DAC chip and utilizes the Amanero Combo384 USB interface from the Italian manufacturer Amanero to process high-definition digital audio signals in linear PCM format up to 32-bit/384 kHz and DSD up to DSD512. The Audel U-DAC serves as the system’s control center, feeding the signal to the compact Audel U-AMP, which, thanks to Class D topology and an integrated power supply, ensures precise control, dynamics, and transparency. The amplifier’s stated power is 50 watts per channel when driving an 8-ohm load and 75 watts into a 4-ohm load. The Audel Nika Trend speakers are equipped with full-range drivers with a diameter of three inches. The speakers are based on the existing Audel Nika mk3 model.

The Audel Nika Desktop System is designed for music lovers who don’t view their workspace as a purely functional space, but rather as part of their daily life. Thanks to its plug-and-play USB interface, the system can be easily connected directly to a computer—ideal for home offices, studios, or small audio rooms. However, there are no additional digital inputs for other sources. The digital-to-analog converter is connected to the amplifier via an analog RCA cable.
