Samsung hosted its own event at MWC 2021, which showed off a new skin called One UI Watch. It will be installed on smartwatches running the Wear OS operating system. Let me remind you that during the I / O 2021 conference, Google and Samsung announced cooperation and joint development of a new version of Wear OS. And one of the first to receive a revised OS will be the Galaxy Watch4 smartwatch.
As you can see, if you install a Wear OS compatible app on your smartphone, it will automatically appear on your smartwatch. Various settings will also sync between Android smartphones and Wear OS watches. For example, if you select several specific locations in the Clock application, they will also be displayed on the clock. And blocked contacts in the Phone app won’t bother you on your accessory either.
Perhaps the main result of the collaboration between Samsung and Google will be the appearance of branded services of the latter on the Galaxy Watch. Honestly, this is what was really missing, because it is not enough to make a high-quality device from a hardware point of view, the software component is also very important.
