Huawei Watch Buds: Innovative 2-in-1 watch that houses headphones

Huawei Watch Buds

Huawei has presented a most curious wearable in its homeland, it is the Huawei Watch Buds , an innovative 2-in-1 smartwatch that houses a case with wireless headphones inside. Along with this peculiar watch, other devices were also announced that deserve mention even though they will not be the focus of this event; we are talking about the FreeBuds 5i TWS headphones, the Huawei Children’s Watch 5G and the Nova 10 SE smartphone.

As can be seen in the images, the Huawei Watch Buds looks like any smartwatch with a casual design that we can find on the market; Outlining a sphere with a circular black and white screen that shows the user all the data related to their activity, as well as the time and weather.

What’s interesting is when its sphere lifts up, revealing a secret compartment that houses a pair of wireless headphones . What specific headphones are those that appear inside the watch? We honestly don’t know, since its black and silver design does not match that of any model that we know of to date.

Be that as it may, it must be admitted that – in theory – this is a unique proposition, which could be useful for, say, athletes and runners who cannot afford to carry a separate case for the headphones. However, in the absence of more official details we can only assume their use cases.

With all that said, the release date itself is unknown, we only learned that they are now official and that their release was delayed (it was planned for the second of December). However, Huawei did not delve into the details of its delay, but if one thing is certain, it is that we will not see it in any market until the beginning of 2023, since there are not enough days left in the year 2022.
