GS Pro Starry Sky Edition – New smartwatch from Honor and Discovery

Chinese brand Honor, after parting with Huawei, managed to present a new flagship smartphone Honor V40 . Now it’s the turn of the joint development with the Discovery brand – the Honor Watch GS Pro Mysterious Starry Sky Edition rugged smartwatch . A distinctive feature of the novelty is the watch case, which is reliably protected from dust, moisture, mechanical damage and other adverse external factors. According to the manufacturer’s information, the protection level complies with the MIL-SDT-810G standard . The décor is dominated by black with bronze painted stainless steel elements.

The Honor Watch GS Pro Mysterious Starry Sky Edition is equipped with a 1.39-inch round AMOLED touchscreen display with a resolution of 454 × 454 at a pixel density of 326 PPI. The gadget has various sensors that allow the smart watch to monitor the heart rate, blood oxygen saturation level and other important parameters around the clock. The software platform supports more than a hundred sports modes, as well as the ability to control the music you listen to, view the weather forecast, and the like. Compatible with NFC technology provides support for contactless payments.

A single battery charge with moderate use lasts for 25 days of battery life. If you use the watch intensively, then this period will be reduced to two weeks, which still remains an excellent result. To integrate the watch with a smartphone, Bluetooth 5.1 wireless channel is supported. In this case, the smartphone must be running Android 5.0 or iOS 9.0 or more recent versions of operating systems.

In the US, the Honor Watch GS Pro Mysterious Starry Sky Edition smartwatch will go on sale soon for $ 216 .
