The new Screeneo U4 projector clearly demonstrates that technology does not stand still. This ultra-short-throw DLP imager is capable of producing over 2 meters diagonal image from a distance of only 30.5 cm.
Screeneo U4 has a Full HD resolution with a light output of 400 lumens. The projector supports HDR10 format and covers the Rec.709 color space by 108%, and the Texas Instruments light source produces a crystal clear image, Philips claims . The claimed life of the device is an impressive 30,000 hours . The projector has a compact size of 12.4 x 8.2 x 22.4 cm. Its body is finished in matte black, emphasizing its simple and modern style, which is designed to easily fit into any interior.
For easy projection adjustment, Screeneo U4 is equipped with auto keystone correction, digital zoom and auto focus. The latter process is driven by AI algorithms for accuracy and speed.
The projector’s audio system is represented by two 15 W speakers and a subwoofer. This (2.1) configuration, coupled with the DSP, delivers surround sound with enhanced bass for enjoyable movie and music viewing.
For wired connections, there are two HDMI 2.1 and one USB-A inputs, and for wireless connections, a dual Bluetooth 5.0 module that allows you to connect to the projector, for example, two pairs of headphones at once with individual sound settings. In addition, there is a 3.5 mm audio output. By the way, in between views , Screeneo U4 can act as a Bluetooth speaker .
Another feature of the projector is that it will be promoted through the Indiegogo crowdfunding platform with a discount for subscribers of up to 45%. At the moment, the price of Screeneo U4 and the start date of sales are still unknown.
