Yongnuo YN 11mm F/1.8S DA DSM WL lens will be released for Sony, Nikon and Fuji

Yongnuo YN 11mm F/1.8S DA DSM WL lens will be released for Sony, Nikon and Fuji

Yongnuo will release four new lenses with an aperture of F/1.8 for Sony, Nikon and Fujifilm cameras with APS-C matrices. The source reports that these will be fixed lenses with focal lengths from ultra-wide to portrait.

Foreign media reports that we are talking about the following lenses:

  • Yongnuo 11mm F/1.8S DA DSM WL
  • Yongnuo 23mm F/1.4 DA DSM WL
  • Yongnuo 33mm F/1.4 DA DSM WL
  • Yongnuo 56mm F/1.4 DA DSM WL

Images of the Yongnuo YN 11mm F/1.8S DA DSM WL lens were previously published by the source. Apparently, the lens turned out to be quite compact and lightweight despite the high aperture ratio and wide viewing angle.

On the body there is a marking of aperture values, as well as a switch for automatic and manual focusing modes, and a switch for operating modes of the aperture ring (with a click and smooth movement). Other characteristics of this optics were partially revealed:

  1. Minimum focusing distance – 0.15 meters
    Filter diameter – 58mm
  2. Autofocus drive DSM
  3. Lens weight – 260 grams

In addition to the ultra-wide-angle lens, Yongnuo will also release three lenses with even higher aperture:

  • Yongnuo 23mm F/1.4 DA DSM WL
  • Yongnuo 33mm F/1.4 DA DSM WL
  • Yongnuo 56mm F/1.4 DA DSM WL

The source has not yet reported prices for these lenses and announcement dates. But, apparently, as always in the case of the Yongnuo company, the lenses will be in a fairly budget price category. To confirm the manufacturer’s plans for the release of these lenses, the following image was published:

As the announcement date approaches, the source will publish more details about future new products from Yongnuo.

The first image of the Sony FE 24-50mm F/2.8 G lens was previously published . Judging by the published image, the Sony FE 24-50mm F/2.8 G lens will be designed for full-frame cameras, and at the same time has fairly compact dimensions. It can be seen that the lens has three control rings: aperture, zoom and focus. There is a corresponding marking next to the aperture ring for greater convenience.

Despite the high aperture, the future new product will not belong to the G-master line (otherwise it would compete with the standard Sony 24-70mm F/2.8 GM II zoom). However, despite this, the lens will provide a high aperture ratio and at the same time will cost less than the second generation G-master.
