Tilta introduced the Nucleus Nano II wireless lens control system , or follow focus as such devices are commonly referred to The system is a lens, camera and steadicam control console in one device – Nucleus Nano II is compatible with select Sony, Blackmagic and Canon cameras, as well as DJI RS 2 and RS 3 Pro steadicams. Price $299.

The control unit is equipped with a touch screen, which not only allows you to apply settings in a more convenient way, but also displays lens and camera settings. The unit is powered by a built-in battery, the battery life is about 7 hours.

The new system allows you to simultaneously control focus, aperture and zoom on a cine lens, in addition, in conjunction with the Tilta Mirage Matte Box hood, you can remotely adjust the density of the variable ND filter. The control unit allows you to save lens calibration profiles. The company claims that the motors in the Nucleus Nano II system automatically adjust torque for smooth lens control.
