Panasonic Lumix S1R II will be presented in 2023

Panasonic Lumix S1R II will be presented in 2023

The new Panasonic S1R Mark II full-frame mirrorless camera is coming soon . According to information published in foreign media, the successor to the Panasonic Lumix S1R camera may be the Lumix S1R Mark II, which is expected to be released in 2023. Most likely, the announcement will take place in the near future. There are several factors pointing to the possible release of the Panasonic S1R Mark II in 2023.

According to the largest Panasonic dealers in the US, supplies of the Panasonic S1R should stop within 6-8 months. Given that Panasonic’s current S1R model was released in March 2019, it’s no surprise that its successor could be introduced in the near future.

Considering that the camera will most likely get the phase detection autofocus system that Panasonic’s entry-level S5 II has, we can expect the successor to the S1/S1R to be a camera also equipped with this feature. Perhaps the novelty of the new generation will receive a cooling fan that was developed for the S5II model, the source also reports.

This is all the information on this camera so far.

Let me also remind you that Panasonic Holdings recently created a technology for accurate color reproduction. It reduces distortion by using a thin photoconversion layer using an organic film that has a high light absorption rate. The second element is electrical pixel separation technology.
