Meike AF 85mm F1.4 STM for full-frame Sony E and Nikon Z cameras

At the NAB’2023 exhibition, the first autofocus full-frame lens Meike MK 85mm F1.4 AF STM was announced , and later – in August – its prototype was shown at the Beijing BIRTV exhibition. Now its sales have officially begun for Sony E and Nikon Z mounts at a price of $470. However, the intrigue is that the Chinese company promises to present a version with Canon RF-mount at the end of December.

The manufacturer positions the 1.4/85 as “a high-quality portrait lens that provides high-resolution images in focus and soft background blur out of focus, images are sharp and clear at any aperture. ”

The optical design consists of 13 elements using multi-layer coating. Autofocus provides a quiet and fast STM drive. The case has a function button and USB Type C for firmware updates.
