Leica introduces Drop XL wireless charger for Q3 camera

Leica has introduced a new addition to its arsenal of accessories, the Drop XL wireless charging pad , which allows you to charge the Q3 camera battery and the HG-DC1 grip in fast wireless mode. With this panel, the BP-SCL6 battery can be fully charged in 180 minutes. Drop XL has a number of interesting features. First, this charger provides up to 10W of power, enough to wirelessly charge a Leica Q3 with the HG-DC1 handgrip attached. Secondly, the panel is also compatible with other devices, including AirPods, iPhones and other gadgets that support the QI standard.

In addition, the aesthetic design of the Drop XL deserves a special mention. Crafted from premium aluminum and covered in an elegant fabric, this charging pad should grab attention with its look and texture, according to the manufacturer.

It should be noted that Drop XL has a built-in foreign object detection function and thermal protection, which guarantees safety during charging. It is able to easily charge devices, even if they have a case up to 3 mm thick, which makes it a universal solution for charging various gadgets.

The Drop XL Charging Pad comes with an AC power adapter and a 2 meter power cord for ease of use and easy connection.

The charging pad itself is already on sale at a price of about $175 , and a kit with a handle without which wireless charging will not work with the Q3 camera is $370.
