It is separately noted that the closure of production of the Canon M50 Mark II camera, which was announced in October 2020, has already been confirmed. This model is no longer sold even in the largest foreign online stores of photographic equipment.
As expected, Canon has decided to focus on Canon RF system mirrorless cameras, which are available in both full-frame and APS-C sensors. In order not to create competition for its own new system, the company decided that the line of Canon EOS M cameras should be cut.
