According to rumors, Nikon Z9 can be expected no earlier than December 2021

According to rumors published on NikonRumors , the flagship Nikon Z9 mirrorless camera will be unveiled in late November or early December 2021. At the moment, it is known that the camera will receive a new full-frame multilayer CMOS sensor, a new image processor, will record 8K video and generally have outstanding characteristics for shooting video.

Experts expect the Nikon Z9 camera to come with the following specifications:

  • New multi-layer, high-resolution FX sensor. Perhaps the resolution will be 60 or 50 megapixels
  • Housing with integrated battery grip
  • Experts expect the Z9 to have a D6 body, the power of a Canon EOS R5, autofocus like the Sony α9II, and an electronic viewfinder without blackout.
  • Nikon announced that the Z9 will outperform the D6
  • Shooting speed 20 fps
  • Multifocal mode
  • 16-bit RAW
  • 8K30p, 4K 120/60 / 30p
  • New EXPEED processor designed for 8K
  • Improved subject detection AF
  • Better AF tracking than D6
  • Two XQD / CFX Type B memory card slots
  • ISO 64 – 25600, Hi1, Hi2
  • Better noise reduction and significantly better dynamic range
  • High-resolution electronic viewfinder without blackout, possibly 9 thousand megapixel resolution, 120 Hz refresh rate
  • No second LCD on the back like the D6
  • New Nikon EN-EL18x Battery
  • Gbps LAN, USB-C, Wi-Fi, GPS
  • Price: $ 6000 – $ 7000
