The Chinese company Xiaomi has officially announced that the announcement of the flagship camera phone Xiaomi 13 Ultra will take place in April. Now the manufacturer has clarified that the smartphone will be sold worldwide, and will not become a niche model for the Chinese market.
The company also noted that the optical system of the Xiaomi 13 Ultra model will become “of legal age” through cooperation with Leica. Thus, Xiaomi promises the high image quality that the Xiaomi 13 Ultra will provide.
The characteristics of a smartphone that can get one of the most powerful camera systems on the market have been revealed by independent sources. An image of a supposedly Xiaomi 13 Ultra was also published:
The Xiaomi 13 Ultra main module will receive an inch sensor (Sony IMX989 model) with a Leica processing system. This module will have a resolution of 50 megapixels. By the way, this is currently the largest optical format available for mobile devices.
In addition, the smartphone will receive three more sensors – all of them will be equipped with Sony IMX858 matrices (also 50 megapixels). Three modules will be equipped with ultra-wide-angle optics, and telephoto lenses with 3x zoom and 5x zoom. Thus, the possibility of high-quality shooting from any module can be one of the key advantages of Xiaomi 13 Ultra.
Xiaomi 13 Ultra is also credited with a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen with QHD + resolution and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The device can also get 12 or 16 GB of RAM, 256 or 512 GB of flash memory, a 32-megapixel front camera.
Xiaomi 13 Ultra will receive a capacious battery with support for fast 90-watt charging. The speed of a full charge of the device is not disclosed yet.
The maximum configuration of the smartphone will include 1 TB of flash memory. Information has been confirmed that the device will receive the flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 (4 nm) single-chip eight-core system. Currently, this is one of the most productive mobile processors available on the market.
Previously, the Motorola Edge 40 Pro smartphone was introduced with a 60 MP front camera. The Motorola Edge 40 Pro smartphone received a triple main camera with modules of 50, 50 and 12 megapixels (a telemodule with support for 2x optical zoom). The front camera has a resolution of 60 megapixels. Thus, the smartphone selfie camera has the highest resolution among all other modules.
