The upcoming ASUS ROG Phone 9 is designed to work with neural networks

The series will consist of two models equipped with the top Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset

The ROG Phone 9 series is set to be unveiled in just a week. There has been considerable speculation surrounding these smartphones for some time, and now one of the models has surfaced in the Geekbench ML benchmark, revealing several specifications, including the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. MySmartPrice was the first to report this, although it remains unclear whether the tested model is the standard version or the Pro variant. Regardless, the device achieved an impressive score of 1812 points in the TensorFlow Lite CPU Interference test, indicating its strong capability in managing neural networks.

The Geekbench ML benchmark indicates that the smartphone is equipped with 24GB of RAM and operates on Android 15. The ROG Phone 9 series is anticipated to include two models, each reportedly featuring LTPO OLED displays with a 185Hz refresh rate in gaming mode, powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite chipsets.

The new products set to launch will maintain a similar external appearance to their predecessors. Based on the renders, the smartphones are expected to feature a primary camera consisting of three modules, LED lighting on the rear panel, and a flat display that includes a cutout for the front-facing camera. Additionally, the right side will be equipped with pressure-sensitive AirTriggers buttons marked with the ROG logo. The ROG Phone 9 series is scheduled to be unveiled on November 19.
