SAMSUNG INTRODUCED GALAXY A05 AND A05S: ENTRY-LEVEL, BUT A LOT OF MEMORY

Samsung has quietly introduced the latest models of Galaxy A series smartphones – Galaxy A05 and Galaxy A05s. Both devices are entry-level, but boast more memory and a 50-megapixel main camera.

The smartphones received a design typical for the manufacturer with a drop-shaped cutout on the screen for the front camera. Both models have a 6.7-inch LCD display, only with different resolutions (HD+ on the A05 and FHD+ on the A05s), 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage, as well as a 5000 mAh battery with support for 25 W charging. The software used is OneUI Core based on the Android 13 operating system. The similarities end there.

Galaxy A05 is built on the Helio G85 hardware platform – an eight-core chipset with a Mali-G52 graphics processor. There is an 8-megapixel camera on the front, and two 50-megapixel and 2-megapixel modules on the back. Galaxy A05s is equipped with a Snapdragon 680 chipset, a 13-megapixel front camera and a triple main camera with 50, 2 and 2 megapixel sensors.

Galaxy A05 has three color options: black, light green and silver. In addition to these variants, the Galaxy A05s is also offered in Purple color. The cost of smartphones and the start of sales have not yet been announced. Information will appear in the coming days.
