Redmi Note 13 line specs revealed

The characteristics of the budget flagship smartphones of the Redmi Note 13 line are revealed

Xiaomi smartphones, which are produced under the separate Redmi brand, will be released in the second half of 2023 and will be distinguished by screens with a very narrow frame, according to one of the foreign sources. Smartphone models will be presented: Redmi Note 13, Redmi Note 13 Pro and Redmi Note 13 Pro+.

The devices will reportedly have very thin bezels around the displays on all four sides. Smartphones will be equipped with a 6.7-inch flat OLED display. Probably, information about these devices has already appeared in the IMEI database.

The entire series of Redmi Note 13 smartphones will receive a dual main camera. This time the company decided to abandon the weak low-resolution modules. There will be a main module and a wide-angle one. Super-advanced modules with periscope cameras, apparently, will be implemented in the Xiaomi 14 line (announcement is expected in November 2023).

The front camera of the smartphone will be located in the center, at the top of the display. Its specifications have not yet been disclosed.

The base model – Redmi Note 13 will receive a Snapdragon 695 SoC processor, and more advanced smartphones: Redmi Note 13 Pro and Note 13 Pro + will receive a Mediatek Dimensity 7200 SoC chip (4 nm process technology). These are not the most productive processors currently on the market – but they will be enough to work with resource-intensive applications.

Redmi Note 13 and Redmi Note 13 Pro are credited with 6000 mAh batteries with support for 67 W fast charging, while Redmi Note 13 Pro has a 5500 mAh battery with support for 120 W charging.

Devices will traditionally cost less than models from Huawei, Xiaomi, Samsung and Apple. However, in recent years, the Redmi smartphone began to receive more and more advanced components: cameras, displays, processors. So, in 2022, the Redmi Note 12 Pro + smartphone was announced with a 200 MP camera worth $290.

The main module of the main camera of the smartphone has a 200-megapixel sensor (model – Samsung ISOCELL HPX). Due to the highest resolution, it allows you to take pictures in three different modes: with maximum detail (200 MP), optimal (50 MP) and best for low light (12.5 MP). In the cases of 12.5 MP and 50 MP modes, there is a merging of pixels, and not a limited use of the matrix area.
