Pixel 8 Pro specifications and price leaked

The Pixel 8 Pro is revealed, specifications and price leaked

Less than two weeks after its presentation, we can already say that we know in detail the characteristics of the Pixel 8 Pro, as well as those of its younger brother, and what is even more interesting: its launch price. In this sense, through the usual means of leaks, these details have been revealed, and we need to keep an eye on them.

In this graph – which is supposed to be confidential – we can see a comparison of the Pixel 8 lineup with its predecessors, that is, the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro.

Let’s talk prices

As you can see, the Pixel 8 will have a recommended retail price of $699 , $100 more expensive than its predecessor. When it arrives in Europe we can expect it to also cost 100 euros more than the Pixel 7 at the time of its launch. On the other hand, the Pixel 8 Pro will cost the same as its previous-generation equivalent ($899), and that’s good news in our opinion.

Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro, this is what we can expect

Previous leaks already gave us a good idea of what to expect from Google’s next flagships, but today’s information gives us the full picture. Going into details, both terminals will have the Google Tensor G3 chip , but in the case of the base model we can only expect 8GB of RAM, while the Pro boasts about 12GB. Internal storage options will surely range from 128GB to 512GB.

The document does not mention all the details of the screen, only that they will have panels with a variable refresh rate of up to 120Hz. However, previous rumors suggest a 6.1-inch AMOLED panel with FullHD+ resolution for the base model. For its part, the Google Pixel 8 Pro will have a 6.7-inch display and 2K resolution (1,440 x 3,120 pixels).

Lastly, the poster reveals a dual rear camera module for the Pixel 8 comprising a 50MP primary sensor and a 12MP ultra-wide lens . Meanwhile, the Pixel 8 Pro has a 50MP primary sensor, a 48MP ultrawide camera with macro focus, and a 48MP telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom. Both devices house the same 10.8 MP front camera, it should be added.
