OPPO A2 Pro introduced as the world’s first smartphone with free battery replacement

OPPO A2 PRO INTRODUCED

OPPO has announced a stylish mid-range smartphone OPPO A2 Pro. It looks like an ordinary smartphone, except for the leather back, but it has one interesting feature. The manufacturer guarantees free battery replacement for four years.

OPPO A2 Pro has a body with rounded edges and fairly thin frames on top and bottom. The screen has an OLED matrix with a diagonal of 6.7 inches, a resolution of 2412 × 1080 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. At the back of the smartphone there is a large round camera block with a 64 MP main sensor and a 2 MP depth sensor. As for the hardware platform, it uses an eight-core MediaTek Dimensity 7050 chipset, which is manufactured using TSMC’s 6nm process technology. The RAM in the smartphone can be 8 or 12 GB; the technology of software expansion of RAM through the internal storage is supported. The maximum storage capacity can be 512 GB.

And the most important thing is the battery. OPPO A2 Pro is equipped with a 5000 mAh battery with support for 67 W fast charging. OPPO is confident that its batteries lose less than 20% in 4 years, so the company promises to replace the battery free of charge if its capacity is less than 80% within this period of time. The offer is valid for all users who purchase a smartphone from an official seller before October 8.

Sales of OPPO A2 Pro will start in China on September 15. The price of the smartphone has not yet been announced, but it is expected that it will cost from $290.
