The iQOO brand released two teasers of the future novelty at once – the flagship smartphone iQOO Neo 8 Pro. This device, follows from the teaser, will have the highest performance, exceeding the flagship devices from Samsung and Xiaomi, which are equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC processor.
The published teaser indicates that the flagship iQOO Neo 8 Pro is gaining more than 1.36 million points in the AnTuTu benchmark. This was made possible by using the overclocked MediaTek Dimensity 9200 Plus single-chip platform. It is an octa-core 4nm mobile processor announced in November 2022. It has the highest performance and extensive computing capabilities.
Due to this chip, the iQOO Neo 8 Pro smartphone will be able to programmatically process photos and videos, thereby improving their quality.
By the way, the figure of 1.36 million points is 30 thousand more than that of the OPPO Find X6 Pro smartphone, which occupies one of the leading places in the DxOMark ranking in terms of camera capabilities.
It is currently known that the iQOO Neo 8 Pro model will receive a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1.5K. Supported refresh rate is 120Hz.
The smartphone will have three cameras of the main unit. The main module will receive a resolution of 50 megapixels (Sony IMX866V sensor model). Examples of pictures taken on the iQOO Neo 8 Pro have not yet been published.
It also follows from the teaser that the device will have an optical image stabilization system (OIS). Also available is an LED flash.
The package will include 16 GB of RAM (LPDDR5X), 256/512 GB of flash memory (UFS 4.0), a 5000 mAh battery with 120 W charging support. This smartphone is already open for pre-order in China.
Earlier it was reported that the announcement of the flagship smartphone HTC U23 Pro will take place on May 18. It has already been confirmed that the smartphone will receive a mid-range Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC processor. It scores about 550 thousand points in the AnTuTu rating, but HTC has not previously released smartphones with similar performance.
Due to this chip, HTC U23 Pro will be able to provide sufficiently high-quality hardware processing of images and videos. Together with a system of advanced cameras, one of which will have a resolution of 108 megapixels, this can provide high quality photography and video recording.
