xDuoo has released a new budget model of the desktop headphone amplifier MT-601S , built on a hybrid circuit.
A 12AU7 double triode is installed in the preamplifier section , and the output stage is implemented on transistors operating in pure class A.
The user can, at will, replace the tube in the preamplifier with a more suitable one in terms of sound signature. The circuit uses Japanese audiophile Rubycon capacitors . To connect signal sources, there is a 3.5 mm jack on the front panel, a pair of RCA on the back, the output is also implemented on RCA connectors .
Headphones are connected to the 6.35 mm jack on the front panel. The output power of the amplifier is 200 mW into 32 Ohms, the signal-to-noise ratio is more than 100 dB. The device weighs 360 grams without a network adapter.
