Pro-Ject components will be certified by Plays with Audirvāna

Pro-Ject Audio Systems begins a partnership with French software developer Audirvāna SAS . As part of this collaboration, components from the Pro-Ject Box Design series will be certified as Plays with Audirvāna , and Pro-Ject Audio Systems will become a certified partner of the software company Audirvana.

With the Plays with Audirvāna certification program, French software company Audirvāna SAS confirms that Audirvāna Studio or Audirvāna Origin software is compatible with various hardware solutions and thus achieves the best possible results when playing content.

To date, a number of well-known audio manufacturers have already participated in this program, and now they include the Austrian company Pro-Ject Audio Systems.

If devices are Plays certified with Audirvāna, they will be automatically recognized by Audirvāna Studio or Audirvāna Origin software as soon as they are connected directly to a PC or Mac via USB or used as a streaming device via UPnP or Google Chromecast. A Plays with Audirvāna pop-up window will then appear, confirming that the devices have been fully tested and run the software without any problems.

Pro-Ject Audio Systems has confirmed that the following models of the Pro-Ject Box Design series have currently received the Plays certificate from Audirvāna – the Pro-Ject Stream Box S2 Ultra network player and the Pro-Ject Pre Box S2 Digital pre-amplifier with DAC unit . No action is required to be able to use the Audirvāna Studio or Audirvāna Origin software packages with Pro-Ject Box Design Series components – it will also be free for existing software users.
