Mark Levinson 5105: A true classic in analog sound

HARMAN presents a High End vinyl turntable – Mark Levinson # 5105 . The brand’s traditional symbiosis of sophisticated design and the best available technologies will be a real discovery for fans of analog media.

“Trends in sound reproduction are cyclical, and we are seeing an amazing but predictable resurgence of interest in vinyl records. For true connoisseurs of analog sound, it is important that the signal is transmitted without distortion. Meticulous manual work in the creation of Mark Levinson No. 5105 in combination with the brand’s advanced technologies allowed us to create a unique player that will convey to the listener the smallest nuances of compositions with pinpoint accuracy “ , – Evgeny Konov, .

The base of the turntable is constructed from a single two-inch piece of sandblasted aluminum protected by an anodized black finish. Base / plinth suspension system – three independent adjustable feet with individual composite cushioning system. The front panel and playback control buttons are also made of aluminum and complemented by branded tinted glass. The 25 cm high-gloss black carbon arm ends with a one-piece molded aluminum cartridge pad with an integrated lift handle. The record holder in the legendary hourglass shape, laconically echoing the design of the arm suspension, is filled with hard brass alloy for added weight.

The turntable weighing more than 6 kg is suspended on a ground hardened steel axle and rotates on ultra-precise, lubrication-free, maintenance-free composite bearings. The branded slipmat, along with the user’s manual, comes in a package styled like a double vinyl LP. High precision and stability of rotation is provided by a 12-volt synchronous motor. Its control signal is generated by a digital processor to avoid temperature distortion and unwanted vibration. The built-in power supply is capable of operating in a voltage range of 90 to 260 volts AC.
