LUMIN has updated its music server with a built-in network switch . The new product received the L2 index and, according to the manufacturer, is capable of “raising your musical experience to unprecedented heights.”

Lumin L2 combines a network music server and a network switch into one elegant aluminum housing. LUMIN L2 is more than just a music server. The company boasts that “it is a true breakthrough in simplicity, flexibility and superior sound.” Its beauty lies in its simplicity. With no setup required, you can easily add music to L2 via USB or network, and it will automatically share new tracks. The specially developed LUMIN server software guarantees high stability, advanced tag support and compatibility with high-definition PCM/DSD formats.

With a built-in 4-port audiophile-grade network switch, you can upgrade your computer network. LUMIN L2 is equipped with two SFP fiber ports and two Gigabit Ethernet RJ45 ports.

The LUMIN L2 music server is offered in three configurations: without disks, with two 2 TB SSD drives or a pair of 4 TB SSD drives, which allows for optimal organization of your music library. The new product supports UPnP (Openhome), there is a USB 3.0 Micro type B port for connecting to a computer, as well as SMB support for network broadcasting.

The network music server with built-in network switch LUMIN L2 is already on sale. The server version without drives will cost $3,499 . For a server with two SSD drives with a capacity of 2 TB each, you will have to pay $4,499 . The older version with a total storage capacity of 8 TB is priced at $5,499 .
