FiiO launches new Hi-Res player M15S

FiiO has introduced an updated version of its popular portable audio player M15, which received the suffix S. The FiiO M15S model features improved DAC, CPU and operating system. The player uses Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 as the central processing unit , providing fast operation of the latest version of Android 10 with support for the Google Play app store.

The processor is supported by 4 GB of RAM, the internal storage of the player is 64 GB . The DAC block is based on the flagship ES9038Pro chip from ESS Saber Technologies , which supports 32-bit digital signal conversion. The entire front panel of the device is occupied by a 5.5-inch touch screen. To connect wireless headphones, the model has a QCC5124 Bluetooth adapter that supports LDAC and aptX HD codecs.

A set of wired headphone jacks includes three jacks – 2.5 mm, 3.5 mm and 4.4 mm , the maximum output power in balanced mode is 1200 mW at 32 ohms. The model supports Apple Music and is certified Roon Ready for integration into relevant systems.

The FiiO M15S Hi-Res Player is now available for a retail price of $999 .
