Cambridge Audio announces Evo CD transport

The Cambridge Audio Evo CD Transport is exactly a transport, that is, it does not have its own DAC, and an external digital-to-analog converter is required. The Evo CD Transport is perfectly compatible with other devices from the Evo line – the same Evo 75 and Evo 150 .

Transport works with CD-DA, CD-R, CD-RW discs. In addition, it is capable of displaying album art through the proprietary StreamMagic application. The device is equipped with, according to Cambridge Audio, “industry-leading” improved error correction and is able to detect discs faster.

High quality audio CD transport – designed exclusively for Evo all-in-one players

The metal tray slides out of a sleek black front panel. The side walls are available in matt wood or matt black, with a choice of sustainable Richlite material. The dimensions of the novelty correspond to the Evo parameters – 317 x 89 x 352 mm, weight 5.3 g. And the Evo CD is one of the Cambridge Audio exhibits at High End Munich 2023.

In the US, the Cambridge Audio Evo CD Transport costs $1,200.
