Acurus Aries – New Class D Integrated Amplifier

Acurus Aries Integrated Amplifier is a state-of-the -art audio component that delivers stunning sound quality combined with advanced control and connectivity. Company Acurus develops and produces complex high quality electronics since 1993. Each product of the company is a period of years of special research, extensive testing and design improvements. The Acurus Aries amplifier was designed, hand-assembled, and tested by engineers, technicians, and experienced assemblers in the United States. The Acurus Aries model has been produced since 2014 and, due to constant improvement, remains an always relevant high-quality audio component for true connoisseurs of good sound.

The compact Acurus Aries Integrated Amplifier provides two channels of 200W each amplification. The output stages components work in class D . Class D hybrid analog amplification technology offers an affordable alternative for confident and accurate control of the most challenging loads.

Balanced input jacks with XLR and four conventional linear input and complementary input format output 2.1 (with a separate connector for the subwoofer signal); the latter means the Aries can be used as a pre-amplifier. There are also trigger inputs and outputs, an external IR receiver input, Ethernet and RS232 ports for integrating the component into a smart home system. On the rear panel there is an expansion slot covered with a dummy, that is, the device can be upgraded in the future with optional modules.

The front panel has a 10.9 cm touchscreen display: icons are large and easy to read, operation is intuitive. There is a possibility to select modes 2.0 , 2.1 or a preamplifier, select an external subwoofer input, channel balance, separate adjustment of the low-frequency output level, as well as a proprietary V-drop function – similar to Mute , but the owner of Acurus Aries can choose the volume of the muffled sound. The amplifier can be easily integrated into a home automation system; both free-standing and rack-mounting with installation equipment are provided.
