757 deemphasis preamp joins the 7th series of Soulution models

The preamplifier of the Swiss company Soulution 757 deemphasis (it can be translated as “de-emphasis”) is equipped with a phono stage that is compatible not only with MC / MM cartridges, but also with an optical DS Audio cartridge. You can also directly connect tape recorders to the preamplifier. There is a choice of customizable correction curves for both phono cartridges and magnetic heads.

According to the press release, “The front end improves common-mode rejection without sacrificing noise performance and optimizes impedance matching with resistive and capacitive loads.” This can be done for the specific connected cartridge. A separate emphasis is placed on “stable and quiet” power supplies.

The Model 757 can be connected directly to the jacks as there is a volume control on board in 1dB steps. The gain is adjustable from -60dB to +80dB. At the same time, according to the manufacturer, the output is, according to the manufacturer, a “very fast” and push-pull class A output stage. This is indeed an ultra-wideband circuit – a more than redundant range for an audio device is declared up to 20 MHz with a non-uniformity of -3 dB, for an output current of 1.5 A.

Soulution will be presenting the 757 deemphasis preamplifier at the Munich show, adding to its 7-series of preamplifiers, amplifiers, DACs and phono stages.

In Europe, the retail price of the Soulution 757 deemphasis preamplifier will be 65,000 euros.
