Ultrasone Isar: Full-size wireless ANC headphones

Isar - Ultrasone's first full-size wireless ANC headphones

Ultrasone has promised its full-size Isar earphones active noise-cancelling performance of up to -40dB. In this mode, they will be able to work on a single charge for 30 hours (and without ANC they will last 2 hours more). The novelty is equipped with six microphones – 3 on each side.

The presence mode (when you can be aware of your surroundings without removing your headphones) is called Ambient by Ultrasone, in which case the microphones transmit sound from outside. The model meets IPX5 requirements for splash protection – you can practically not be afraid of rain.

The developers promise “emotional, clear sound” and honestly say that the bass is slightly raised. Especially in Ultrasone they note the clarity of the transfer of stereo effects, the position of the instruments on the stage and the volume.

Headphone control is touch-sensitive, it is concentrated on the outside of the right cup. Instant alert mode, volume control, track switching, phone call management are available. Thanks to the built-in chipset QCC3034 + ADI1787, the new product supports Bluetooth 5.0 with AAC, SBC and APTX HD codecs and connects up to two devices simultaneously.

The European price of Ultrasone Isar headphones is 230 euros.
