The smallest true wireless headphones in the world unveiled

Popular in some markets, the American brand JLab has introduced the most compact wireless headphones JBuds Mini. They really justify their name without sacrificing performance, functionality and autonomy.

With a charging case, they are smaller than a car key fob. At the same time, they offer customizable touch controls, transparent sound mode, simultaneous connection to three devices via Bluetooth, and long battery life.

Compared to other JLab products, the JBuds Mini are 30% smaller than their most compact counterparts. This makes them an ideal choice for minimalists who choose their clothes based on size. The case is a little over 5 cm long, 3.5 cm wide, and 2.4 cm high.

There is a fabric loop with a ring on the side so that you can hook the headphones to keys or anything else. The manufacturer installed a 35 mAh lithium-polymer battery in each earbud, capable of providing more than five hours of playback without recharging. The case contains a 250 mAh battery, which gives a total of up to 20 hours of autonomy. Charging time is about two hours.

There’s no active noise cancellation here, but the JBuds Mini has all the basic features you’d expect from modern wireless headphones. It is Google Fast Pair support, IP55 protection, Bluetooth 5.3. In addition, each earbud can be used independently. 6 mm drivers are responsible for the sound, there are microphones for noise reduction during a call. Supported codec is SBC.

JBuds Mini will go on sale September 1. for $40. Color options: mint, sage, pink, turquoise and black.
