The appearance of the fully wireless Shure Aonic Free headphones does not distinguish them from their “classmates”. At the same time, the headphones became the first model of the TWS-company, devoid of additional behind-the-ear clips. It is available in a single graphite finish.
Aonic Free features proprietary Sound Isolating technology, which Shure claims to “naturally block noise and eliminate distractions.” The same approach is used in professional in-ear monitors from Shure – external sounds are suppressed with an efficiency of up to 37 dB.
Headphones control is brought to their outer surface. Even more options are available in the ShurePlus Play app for iOS and Android. It also works as a music player with a built-in equalizer.
Activated in the application, the PausePlus function will automatically turn on the listening environment mode when you press the “pause” button. Using Bluetooth 5, the earbuds support Qualcomm aptX, AAC and SBC codecs.
Crisp stereo sound is promised by Aonic Free in phone mode as well. For this, the headphones received a microphone system with beamforming and optimized positioning.
They are ready to work on their own for up to 7 hours, and three more times the battery charge will be able to replenish the battery case. In addition, the set includes earbuds in three sizes and a USB-C charging cable.
In the US, the Shure Aonic Free TWS headphones will cost $ 200.
