Redmi Airdots 3 Pro : Versatile and stable buds with great sound

Redmi Airdots 3 Pro are a basically great value for money, wireless and noise canceling headphones. They are very versatile and we would recommend them if you are looking for something comfortable and that gives good results, without being spectacular.

This is the quick summary of what we are going to tell you next. If you don’t have more time, we invite you to advance to the end of the article, where we show you the offers to buy them today. But if you want to know everything about them before making your purchase decision and know what their strengths and weaknesses are, we will tell you in great detail.

Design of the Xiaomi Redmi Airdots 3 Pro

True wireless headphones may all look the same to the naked eye, but nothing could be further from the truth. Change the shape of the box and even the shape of the earphone itself, some are more comfortable, others fit more into the ear … In short, there are many types of true wireless (TWS). In this case, these Xiaomi Redmi Airdots 3 Pro have an oval box format and button-shaped  in-ear headphones  , without a “stick” like the classic  Apple AirPods .

You can find them in  white or black . They weigh just  4.9 grams per earbud. They are very comfortable, although here it comes into play that there are people who like the in-ear format more than others. If you are one of those who do not like it, one advice is to try them for several days. At first it may seem more uncomfortable, but when you get used to it, many people can no longer do without them. Another important detail is that they do not fall off, they are well fixed with the pads that they bring (it is important that you wear the one of your size), so you can play sports with them.

Good sound and active noise cancellation

These Xiaomi headphones  feature  Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) . That is, it allows you to isolate yourself from the outside world to focus more on your work or playing sports without listening to the moans of the colleague next door. It is not the most powerful (it reduces  noise by 35 dB ) but for environments such as a gym, an office or the like, it will be more than enough. In addition, several noise cancellation modes can be selected, depending on whether we want the word to spread, for example, to find out if our boss asks us something in the office. With its  artificial intelligence (AI) you can detect scenes and set the optimal noise cancellation settings at all times.

As for the sound, they are heard quite well both in calls and in music playback. They have an impedance of  32 ohms , a diameter of 9 mm and a low latency of  69 ms so that they also serve you to play.

Connectivity and battery

These headphones use  Bluetooth 5.2 , very stable and with a good range of action. We can separate about 10 meters from our main device without cuts or interference.

But without a doubt what they have convinced us the most has been in the battery section. In that sense, there are several details that should be mentioned. The capacity of the charging case is  470 mAh  and the headphones 35 mAh . The promised autonomy is  3 hours in calls and 6 hours in music playback . The total life of the case with each charge is 28 hours . Note that these are values with the volume set to 50% and without noise cancellation. If we change these values, the battery will decrease or increase, but these data can serve as a reference. As for the time it takes for the box to charge, it is  2.5 hours with cable (via  USB-C ). Also offerswireless charging . In addition, it is worth mentioning its fast charging system, with which we can have up to 3 hours of music playback with only 12 minutes of charging.

  • Totally wireless
  • Charge via USB-C or wireless

  • Very good and stable connectivity

  • Good battery life
  • Price
  • With noise cancellation
