PSB M4U 8 MKII Wireless On-Ear Headphones: Custom Sound Profiles, Better Battery and aptX HD

The M4U 8 Active Noise Canceling Wireless Headphones were introduced two years ago . Now PSB decided it was time to update the model. The new PSB M4U 8 MKII features a more durable battery, sound personalization and several additional technologies designed to improve sound quality and usability.

If we talk about standard sound specifications, then the headphones are equipped with a Bluetooth module with support for aptX HD, 40-mm speakers and a “professional-grade” amplifier module. That’s enough to listen to Hi-Res, but Audiodo’s Personal Sound technology will help make the sound “more interesting”.

As for the battery, it should be enough for 18 hours in ANC mode or 25 hours without ANC. By the way, the company also paid attention to ANC technology: the noise reduction system is based on four MEMS microphones with fully digital control. PSB has promised an almost flawless performance.

Among other things, the manufacturer noted that the headphones can also be used in passive mode with a cable: there is a 3.5 mm and USB-C connection. In the US, the new M4U 8 modification is already available for pre-order at a price of $ 400. Deliveries will begin in November.
