Kiwi Ears launches Quintet Headphones with four different types of drivers

Kiwi Ears Quintet

The new model of Kiwi Ears Quintet in-ear hybrid headphones is distinguished by the use of five emitters of four different types in each channel.

Each earphone has one dynamic driver with a 10mm diamond-like carbon diaphragm, two rebar drivers, one 5mm MPT (Micro Planar Transducers) driver and a bone conduction piezoelectric driver.

The headphone housings received an external metal panel, the main part is made by 3D printing from synthetic resin. The kit includes a detachable cable with 0.78 mm plugs, 3.5 mm mini-jack and silver-plated copper conductors. The headphones also come with a carrying case and six pairs of silicone eartips of different sizes.

The Kiwi Ears Quintet Hybrid In-Ear Headphones are on sale online for $219 excluding shipping.
