Ice Lab Spectrumica: In-ear headphones featuring four unique types of drivers

The latest Ice Lab Spectrumica in-ear headphones feature a cutting-edge design that integrates four distinct types of drivers to deliver rich and detailed audio. This model employs an 8-driver configuration, incorporating electrostatic, armature, dynamic, and bone-conducting emitters, along with a meticulously designed dual sound transmission system that operates through both air and the bones of the skull.

Ice Lab has created P-Sync, a precision phase-locking chamber designed to achieve accurate alignment between air and bone conduction. This innovation minimizes phase distortion and enhances the spatial depth of sound. The ceramic diaphragm utilized in this system is exceptionally rigid, which decreases distortion at elevated sound pressure levels and enhances the accuracy of signal transmission.

Sonion drivers are designed to improve clarity and detail, featuring electrostatic emitters that function at ultra-high frequencies reaching up to 40 kHz. The crossover circuit incorporates Japanese Elna audio capacitors and metal film resistors, ensuring precise delivery of rhythmic subtleties.

Constructed from aircraft-grade aluminum, the body offers durability while remaining lightweight. The area in contact with the bone-conducting driver is optimally thickened to facilitate effective vibration transfer. The package comes with two varieties of tips—silicone and Eletech Baroque—allowing users to customize their sound experience.

The Mica cable incorporates 3D-HALO Shielding technology, effectively minimizing noise and enhancing the sound stage. Its construction features a core of monocrystalline copper OCC, complemented by gold-plated conductors and multi-strand Litz Type 4S twisting, which together achieve a harmonious balance of dynamic range and intricate detail. Furthermore, the inclusion of pure silver and silver-plated conductors for additional shielding elevates the clarity and openness of high-frequency sounds.
