Cambridge Audio Melomania 1+ : Wireless headphones with advanced audio customization

The new Melomania 1+ headphones from Cambridge Audio, like the base 2019 model Melomania 1 , are made in TWS format and feature a set of proprietary technologies for improved sound.

Among the main features of the headphones, the manufacturer singled out a multifunctional application for tuning headphones with the ability to manually adjust the tone and the proprietary High Performance Audio mode. Outwardly, Melomania 1+ practically does not differ from Melomania 1.

In the Melomania app for iOS and Android, the user can manually set the equalizer settings, check the charge of each earbud, enable the search mode, update the firmware and, most importantly, activate a special High Performance Audio mode, which should provide a wide soundstage, reduce noise and in general optimize sound. The manufacturer promised that nothing of the kind in this price segment has yet been encountered in terms of quality.

As for the emitters, the Melomania 1+ uses 5.8mm drivers with graphene processing. A Bluetooth 5.0 module with AAC and aptX support is responsible for signal transmission.

Among other things, it is worth paying attention to the protection level of IPX5, nozzles made of soft material with memory effect and Clear Voice Capture technology to suppress noise during telephone conversations. There is also support for smart assistants Siri and Google Assistant.

The included charging case is now equipped with a USB-C (fast charge) port and is able to provide a total of 45 hours of use. The charge of the headphones themselves will last for 9 hours.

The Cambridge Audio Melomania 1+ headphones are already on the European market for 130 euros.
