Audio-Technica’s new ATH-S220BT low-cost closed-back Bluetooth headphones were designed to fit the maximum amount of functionality at the lowest price.
The headphones were equipped with traditional 40-mm drivers, a Bluetooth 5.0 module, a cable connector (if necessary, a wired connection) and a microphone for phone calls. The declared specifications say that the headphones can play out frequencies from 5 Hz to 32 kHz with a sensitivity of 105 dB.
Audio-Technica paid special attention to the capabilities of the batteries: the headphones will work up to 60 hours on a single charge. The company also stressed that the ATH-S220BT can be charged for 3.5 hours of music in 10 minutes.
Another feature of the ATH-S220BT is the ability to connect to two wireless devices at the same time. The user will be able to quickly switch between sources. For Android, there is a Fast Pair option. Also, the headphones are compatible with voice assistants.
ATH-S220BT has already appeared on sale at a price of $ 60. Buyers were offered black, white and blue colors.
