TCL Nxtwear Air: Smart glasses weighing only 75 grams

Nxtwear Air

TCL presented at CES 2022 the “smart” glasses Nxtwear Air . It is a successor of the NxtWear G model , which entered the market in the summer of 2021. The word “Air” in the name speaks of the light weight of the device – only 75 grams.

The novelty offers the equivalent of a 140-inch screen, which the user looks at from a distance of 4 meters. In this case, the viewing angle is 47 °. This opportunity appeared thanks to the installation of two Micro OLED displays with a resolution of 1080p and a frequency of 60 Hz.

The glasses have an accelerometer, gyroscope and built-in speaker system. The set includes two interchangeable lenses. Pricing for TCL Nxtwear Air has yet to be announced.

As the developers explained, their new glasses can be used to watch videos, play games or serve as a virtual desktop.
