ViewSonic Unveils World's First 4K IGZO 165Hz Fast IPS Gaming Monitor

ViewSonic has introduced the new VX2781-4K-Pro-6 monitor. It is touted as the world’s first 4K gaming monitor with IGZO technology and 165Hz Fast IPS. It has not yet appeared on the public market, but its characteristics are certainly impressive.

The VX2781-4K-Pro-6 features a 27-inch Fast IPS panel with a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels for crisp images. The 165Hz refresh rate ensures smooth images and lightning-fast response times, which is essential for fast-paced games. 1ms response time (with overdrive) minimizes input lag.

According to the company, the monitor also features IGZO technology. It improves display performance with high electron mobility, delivering response times ideal for fast-paced content. IGZO makes the monitor energy efficient, reduces power consumption for bright displays, and delivers higher resolution through dense pixel packing.

The VX2781-4K-Pro-6 not only outperforms many competitors on the market in speed and resolution, but also impresses with image accuracy. With a typical brightness of 350 nits and a contrast ratio of 1000:1, it produces vivid, lifelike images, native 10-bit color depth, 99% DCI-P3 color space coverage and 100% sRGB color space coverage.

The gaming monitor is equipped with 2x HDMI 2.1, 1x DP 1.4, 2x USB-C (with support for PD 15W and PD 96W), 2x USB-A, 1x USB-B and a 3.5 mm audio jack. This set ensures compatibility with a wide range of devices and facilitates the connection of various peripherals.

The VX2781-4K-Pro-6 features adjustable ergonomics including height adjustment and swivel capability to enhance user comfort. Additionally, it supports 75mm x 75mm VESA wall mount.

The monitor features HDR600 for dynamic contrast, hardware blue light reduction, flicker-free technology, and FreeSync and G-Sync compatibility to minimize screen tearing. In addition, the new product offers features focused on e-sports competitions: a gaming crosshair (sight), ambient lighting effects and built-in 3 W speakers.

The monitor is currently not listed on any Chinese e-commerce platform. Information about its price has not yet been disclosed.
