Windows 12 will come with built it AI

Microsoft will release the next version of the Windows operating system in June 2024. This is stated in a material published by the Taiwanese business publication Commercial Times, which called this date very important for the island’s computer industry, heralding a new wave of demand for computers with artificial intelligence. Leading PC players such as Acer, Quanta, MSI and Gigabyte are rumored to be already anticipating the opportunities ahead.

If Windows 12 does indeed launch in June 2024, it will be sooner than some previous rumors and leaks have indicated.

In particular, this is stated in recent statements by the executives of Acer and Quanta, who attended the medical technology exhibition in Taipei. Acer CEO Jason Chen spoke with cautious optimism about artificial intelligence computers, which he said would drive “continuous acceleration” in the industry and the development of new AI applications. Quanta CEO Barry Lam was more optimistic, expecting growth in three AI-enabled segments: PCs, servers and automotive electronics.

“Next summer, when Microsoft releases the next generation of the Windows operating system, computers with artificial intelligence will be released one after another,” said Barry Lam.

If Windows 12 does indeed launch in June 2024, it will be sooner than some previous rumors and leaks have indicated. In March of this year, information appeared about the Intel Meteor Lake processor for desktop PCs, where an unreleased version of Windows was listed as a supported operating system. It was then assumed that Windows 12 would be released in the second half of 2024.
